Hi Stan, I looked at the chart that you linked, do not know what data is being used to generate the X's and O's but it is not the normal data used for P&F charting as we know it...

PS RMBS is on a Double Top Buy signal and not a Triple Top by P&F standards, as that chart does show a Triple Top but of what is the question?

Stan, I'm using the daily charts from DWA and I do not have their permission to duplicate them although others on this site might. Yesterday, RMBS clearly had a double top buy signal at 65 after recently braking the bearish resistance line. A double top buy signal consists of three columns of X's and O's with the last column of X's exceeding the previous column of X's. A triple top buy signal consists of five columns. To change columns requires at least a 3-point move in the opposite direction.

From the chart you used, a triple top buy signal was not given. It appears that both triple tops in your example simply met resistance.

I hope this was clear.

Your chart as posted is a sell signal. The last row of Os descends lower than the previous row which proceeded lower than its previous row.In the interim you did get a buy signal. The last row of Os cancels that buy signal BUT I don t know if that previous buy signal changes your broken triple bottom, to a double broken bottom a or just a sell signal. In essence I would sell this chart as posted. It seems you also broke a BSL drawn from the lowest series of Xs.

Then again I could very well be wrong.
