Re: Joe Kernan. The fact that Joe has no computer, does not know how to get on the internet, and is proud of it does not impress me. That means all of his research is done by support staff at CNBC, not Joe. Which means to me that he reads what others research has no real understanding himself. If you don't have the capacity to do research or you don't trade stocks or bonds, then you are a "reader of news", not a professional. Therefore the bander and jocularity that flow from Joe's mouth is not a sign of confidence, but a stall tactic so that the audiance will not pick up on the fact that Joe does not have enough material to fill his two and one-half minutes of time and does not know enough about what he reports to fill in the gaps. Sorry Joe, but I am not impressed by someone who has no life and is proud of it. Maybe I can get a 6th grader to come on over and show you how to work a computer and get on the internet. R.E.B.
