Agreed Steve... These haven't been easy times for "crude" investors. Obviously, the jury remains out regarding the future of oil and gas prices... but over the long haul, I think all the evidence supports strengthening in oil prices. Likewise, taking a historical perspective, the major swings in hydrocarbon prices have been driven by unexpected events... Per usual, I sit in anticipation of the unanticipated and enjoy it a lot more when such events result in an improvement in my portfolio rather than erosion in market value.

Keep your eyes on FX Energy (FXEN). They are drilling two wells on the Lublin concession in Poland with Apache as the operator. Although they're not drilling for elephants, if they hit what they conservatively expect, this stock could move up sharply. If both current Lublin wells are dry... well we all know how the market reacts to such news. HEC and FXEN are two companies in my portfolio that I'm most excited about right now. We'll see.

Have a good weekend.
