Hey Luc, I understood the gist of the matter the first time. I took it to mean the same as like:

When that trade went against me - I didn't want to smoke just ONE cigarette - but EVERY SINGLE one in the pack.

Seriously though...

I was reading the AU thread yesterday and there is a controversy about the #of ADR's that equal one share regarding the dividend. One camp says 2 ADR's = 1 share, another states 1 ADR = 1 share. No huge deal either way but thought you might be able to straighten me out in the matter.

A link about the dividend:

and also:
A LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Dear shareholder
pertainent part

In the light of these results, the Board has declared an interim dividend of R7,50 or $1.28 a share. This produces a dividend yield of 6,7 per cent in Rand terms and 5,8 per cent in Dollar terms, when measured against the average share price for the period. The dividend has been converted at the exchange rate at 30 June.

If you can help - Thanks in advance. If necessary I'll try to clear it up myself Monday.
