Angels in America? I read the NYT, but I'm way off in the provinces, flyover country as they say in the power centers. I remember there was supposed to be a bunch of stuff on local hero Joe McCarthy's buddy Roy Cohn in that, didn't know about J. Edgar. I think I recall pictures of J. Edgar and his buddy Clyde, doing the Monty Python lumberjack thing in Time Magazine. Another bit of irony there. I wonder what Hoover would have done with this, blackmail the Republicans to keep his own private blackmail file worth something, or just jump on the bandwagon while gathering further material on the next in line. The idea of Al Gore in power would probably have given him the shivers, though. A true founding father on the hypocritical pompous moralizing front. Cheers, Dan.
