After these tapes are released and if those leaks are true then there will be tremendous sympathy fer The Pres and absolute Hatred fer Tripp. Here we will see Starrs Group distance themselves from their Canary. Republicans that have tried to use this episode in Smut to further themselves or look stately will see their party knocked in the elections to come.

<< Doesn't sound like a set up from the get go, does it?>>

Let's assume that Monica is actually a sleeper working for the KGB and Tripp is a paid informant for the Republican party. Does that excuse Clinton's actions? If it's that easy to compromise him, does he deserve to be President? Who else has the goods on him?

I don't see any of this as being in Clinton's favor. Why do think that making him out to be a testosterone ruled, led by his ----, easy to manipulate fool, is something to be proud of?

I would rather think that Monica actually fell for him (the way Michelle describes <g>) and that he actually fell for her. That at least is somewhat believable and would explain (without belittling the President or his control of himself) some of Clinton's actions and his obsessive (as some of the Secret Service agents described it) feelings about Monica.
