Yes, I see your point. Yet, as you have pointed out, a post has a half-life. Further, given the SI chat format & systems, additional posts stacked upon an existing one tends to diminish its useful "Life." Therefore, although I generally agree with the notion that there is nothing new under the sun when it comes to these types of behaviors, I do think that the implementation tactics are adapted to fit this medium.

And, why go beyond the boundaries of this thread?

There is certainly good material here and it has been very helpful. However, if anyone can find examples where the member is implementing their tactics to silence other members that leverages the unique features of this medium, it would be of great help.
