Hi Steve:

Have you received the trend data? Here's the SAP (it falls in my case under German stocks):
stock 10D trend 10D r2 20D T 20D r2 50D T 50D R2
SAP_ST.D -2.3082 -0.6882 -1.3795 -0.76 -0.942 -0.8719
SAP_VZ.D -2.1415 -0.6878 -1.27 -0.7405 -0.9348 -0.8838

The data here (I'm not sure about my mailing) are in percents. Some previous version quoted trends in $/day.Just to know what the number say.Means the 10D trend for Sap pf (aka Vz) is 2.14% down a day.

My baits have been in the water all the time. And I see the big white ... jaws ... sniffing at my puts (g).

>>gotta go somewhere from here<< Two rather sobering facts:
a. Germany has 70 Bdm less to pay for its imports this year. Oil, metals, nonmetals... cocoa nuts got that cheaper. Somebody - the poor - are that much poorer in 98. Now factor in the rest of G7 (dont forget Japan)

b. Japan GNP went down 3.7% y2y.

let's see what happens 4th of october in Brasil

Regards

DJ
