Laser,

In my library I have copies of Mineral Resources of the United States by the Bureau of Mines. I don't have the whole set but I have 11 copies dating from 1888 thru 1927. The only reference I could find to the Bonanza was in 1924.

Castle Dome District --- "From the Bonanza claim 27 tons of ore treated by dry concentration gave a concentrate assaying 20 ounces of silver to the ton and 60 per cent lead."

In almost all of the volumes there is reference to the Castle Dome District which was in Yuma County. It is now in La Paz County. It was mainly a producer of silver, lead, zinc and copper and a little gold. It was never a big producing district.
