I think you may be wrong.

AMD claims to have made the conversion at the end of Q1. The Q2 numbers were mostly 0.25 mciron products.

Further, the K6-2 is about 20% LARGER than the K6, so AMD's COSTS MAY HAVE GONE UP as their K6-2 percentage has gone up.
