doug: we are all sinners, as I believe, in a religious sense. Nevertheless, Clinton has demonstrated a flagrant disregard for the ethical requirements of the office. In short, the man Clinton I firmly believe is a sociopath, or one who has no conscience. To what degree I don't know, but what is clear is that not once has Clinton demonstrated the tiniest bit of genuine remorse. Not once, dougjn. "not one time, not ever" has Clinton indicated, in words or body languange, that he does regret the soiling of not only the office, but the oath of that office. He spoke that oath of office with a glibness that we now know meant nothing. Clinton lies whenever, wherever, to whomever, for whatever he feels like. We've seen it time and again, and I'm not going to bore you by giving you a laundry list of times, whether it was related to Lewinksy, Jones, Willey, FBI files, billing records, or whatever. This man Clinton is a danger to be around. Ask some of those people in one of those lists floating around. Oh yeah, you can't ask that woman whose nude and bruised body was found locked in her office in the Commerce Dept building. The police aren't saying what happened there. Was this another "suicide"??? Why won't the media reporters who are so eagerly lapping up all the "Starr, purveyer of porn" stuff, why aren't they digging around that story??? Needless to say, Clinton's crimes are far beyond "sexual sins" in the Oval Office. Try even Franklin Roosevelt. You are disgusting. Don't even begin to compare the greatness of a man who ran a world war from a wheelchair, while stricken with polio, with the disgusting creature who infects Washington DC at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Not he, nor any of the other people on your list. Yes, we've found what the results are when a ethically bankrupt philanderer inhabits the White House. People die, like that ex-White House intern who was gunned down at StarBucks in Georgetown, where no money was taken. People get terrorized, like Kathleen Willey, when her tires got slashed, her cat stolen, and then she was given a thinly veiled threat by a mysterious jogger when he asked if she had "gotten the hint". Meanwhile, the stock market loses all its value for the year. So much for the much-touted capital gains taxes pouring into the treasury, and so much for the much-vaunted predictions of Federal surpluses. Meanwhile, Clinton takes credit for Republican sponsored ideas like Welfare reform, after finally getting Clinton to sign it, after Clinton vetoed Welfare Reform bills three times! Clinton has done nothing good that I can think of except hire Rubin, keep Greenspan, and pass the Family Leave Act. Other than those things, I can't think of anything good, unless to you call two new (higher) income tax brackets and unlimited ceilings on Medicare taxation good things.
