Dixie, Of course amp and mic will represent about $ 25.= of the total production cost, doing it well that is. Can be done for $10.=. Leaves the speaker and 1 proprietary algorithmic chip to complete the design. My guess is that mass production will force down the price of the speaker within affordable range. Some people in this world don't make as much money as we do.., yet everybody potentially is a customer. Maybe you are right, in which case throw out some dollar value in a wild and speculative fashion.
