wily--

an english teacher? LOL. not a chance....its sink or swim time<G>.

in the olden days<G>, before JIT and BTO, the semis could stuff the channel, and force the OEMs to accept inventory. now, they dont do that. this means that semis are going to have problems going forward.

its has to do with semi companies that can meet moments notice demand without severely outpricing spot. if they do, then the OEM can go to spot and get the supplies they need. of course, MU isnt one of those semis...the current manu model doesnt allow for it.

all it means is that things just got a lot tougher on the semi makers...yes, even INTC.as a side note, i will say this...long is wrong on INTC...AMD isnt going to go away this time. and celeron, depsite the press, sucks.

good luck to all,
trey
