I was making exactly the opposite point from the one you gleaned.

That in fact the racial equality accomplishments of Kennedy and Johnson and King vastly outweighed their sexual philandering. And that accomplishments such as moving the country towards racial justice are vastly more important that assessing the sexual purity, by some strict neo-puritan standard, of our leaders.

It takes an incredibly dense tin ear, and utter obliviousness to irony to not understand that message. As in really, really dense.
