Steve, thanks for the TA, I agree. My short term concern about this move is that it may just be moving on the dividend. What happens when that event's over? If I were Runyon, I wouldn't have preannounce the dividend, just surprised current shareholders. I would have also issued only one goodie at a time, spread it out, making it clear that shareholders would be rewarded for loyalty. Even now I can speculate that there could be more goodies for shareholders in the works. How will actual funding be handled for the mine? A Peoria LLC spin-off? Who knows. One thing I do know is that Maxam should be a $1-3 stock just based on "metal in the ground" from press release 06/04/98.
