I would not blame you on holding off till earnings show up. I think there is plenty of time and room for the stock to move up. If I didn't already own it, I probably would not have bought more until I saw a recovery. I own CMO for the dividend anyway, so the upside of the stock is just a bonus (assuming there is a dividend and an upside). Whatever you decide, you will have to give this stock some time to show the money before it becomes a quality investment again.

Take care, JSH

John, short term stock prices are always difficult to predict. However, CMO has all the characteristics of a reasonably quick bounceback, ie it would not be extremely surprising to see it back in double digits by next year. The nonexistent dividend and concern created by eliminating it is the value problem. Waiting for earnings validation also implies waiting to buy at a higher price. Then again, I guess what I'm doing could be referred to as gambling......maybe I'll unload some of this stuff and buy something safer, like lotto tickets.
