Doug - the "gang" reference might be extreme - but it's easier to cut and paste a whole statement when your trying to get out the door (even to watch the Rockies get clobbered - Coors field is too nice to stay away from). but there is an us vs them thing going on here, and this is something that i believe to be counterproductive in investing, and could end up being very counterproductive in the flow of information on this board - the effect is already real. this whole issue revolves around things that happened to people that we hardly know, if at all, and is for the most part (if not all) heresay. when we are faced with hearing both sides of a story, we tend to side with one for whatever reason. in the end, however, unless we were there taking it all in, we really don't know the truth, and probably never will. my guess is that if it's really important to them, these folks will work it out one way or another. and in my opinion they should do it on their own time and money - not their investors. Anyway, I feel wholeheartedly that it is your right to believe in anything you choose and invest by your own method. there is no debate, Doug. i greatly respect your views - always have. toma
