Hey Rick !!! How you be ???

There is one thing that is consistently overlooked in the trade press about the current Asian et al financial crisis and currency devaluations.....that is the difficulty which American companies now have in selling against Korean, Thai, Japanese, etc. competitors......not the fact that those countries can not buy our produce as easily as before.....but that WE can no longer price our domestic goods competitively against theirs in world markets. That is the real problem for lots of U.S. companies.....being forced to reduce prices to compete.

TFS is a perfect example of this. The increased unit volumes we are experiencing should have yielded the profits we were projecting.....not so, because of the above. Exogenous shock.

I believe it also says TFS' business will not get much better until the currency situation stabilizes. It will get BIGGER, but not much better. mcd
