Yeah, I know that about the New Yorker--nothing online, it was a low probability shot that someone besides me (and the people I give gift subscriptions to--it's a great deal: the best journalism in the world, cartoons, art, fiction (!!), and more, for 50c a week!. And it's losing money! Too bad Tina Brown had to leave...) actually reads the thing. The two views in the WP article are a step behind. The fact is that Clinton will not resign. It's not in his makeup. He's too selfish to see that it's in his and the country's best interest. Also, it's just not an American tradition. It's never been done (I don't count Nixon, since he was forced out). He's a gerk.

Hi flick ..

Many people seem to have forgotten .. so I'll bring it up.

Once upon a time there was someone named Paula Jones. One day Paula was the victim of a crime. The man who committed the crime is one of the most powerful men on the face of the planet.

Paula wanted an apology for this mans actions. Instead of giving her the apology, this man called her "trailer park trash" and a lier. Soooo then .. off to court we go.

Paula's lawyers tried to show a pattern of sexual harassment that this man committed. Each situation that was presented came down to one persons word against another. Then came along Monica.

It seems to me now that Paula has proven her case. She has been able to show who is willing to lie under oath. So what does this case now show?

A man, one of the most powerful on the face of the planet, seems to be involved in chronic, habitual sexual harassment in the workplace.

Amoung other things I must admire the courage of Paula.

Now .. what do we do with this information?
