John TWX closed at about 93, .25 shares would be about $23.50, which is below the current stock price ????? ALso, I must admit that I am confused by the continued Jordan bashing. I feel that he has led a significant transfortation, and to top it off, put Mel in charge of operations of both radio and network. CBS is a very attractive company today, a pure play in media, concentrated in radio, one of the more profitable segments, under capable leadership, doing an IPO, buying back shares, dedicated to increasing shareholder value, and remaining a very attractive takeover candidate. larry

John: Regarding Gumble. there is an article in todays' (Sunday) NYPost about how his show was canceled. How sure are you regarding that TWX speculation ? What sense would it make for MK to accept it ? How can cable own TV locals ? Wouldn't the poison pill provision cancel out any hostile efforts ? And lastly, at what price would CBS yield to TWX ? I would assume it would have to be a hefty price and thus how could TWX shareholders approve such a costly move given the climate of the market ?

Thanks
