Hi Laz! It's wonderful to see you again too! You and your twin sister Elane are two of the lights on this board. Yes, we have all learned a lot, I think. How can I best explain what I have learned? I've learned that we all need to be true to our own situations and our own needs. I'll give an example. The concept of a group of people buying a stock and holding is a great concept...but it doesn't work. And why doesn't it work? Because people are slimeballs?? No....but because we all have different needs. Some people have very high incomes that provide them with great lifestyles, and so it's no real hardship on them to buy a stock and hold, even if that stock goes down. They can weather it out. Other people have very low incomes and depend on those stocks for additional income. They can not afford to weather it out. Does it mean they are any less sincere than the wealthy person? No, it just means their needs are different. The hurt comes in when those who can least afford to weather the storm, begin to listen to those who can afford it. And then there are those who believe in the stock, but while exhorting others to hold, are selling. Not to cheat...but so that THEY can buy more when it drops. They don't consider what they are doing to be dishonest, but it is. And it hurt a lot of people who believed in the "buy and hold" concept. Me? I said all along that I was a trader, but what I have learned in the past two months is that it is better, I think, to just keep one's mouth shut. Do not exhort people to buy....do not say to sell....and above all do not divulge what you are or are not doing. If one wants to hold...fine....but do not broadcast it. If one wants to sell...fine...but do not broadcast it. I plan to be back on SI now....not as much as I was before...I can't..I'm too busy....but I plan to make comments on a great many stocks, but I do not plan to state whether I even own those stocks or not....just as I will not say anymore what I am doing with DGIV or others. Maybe I'll own them....maybe I won't. One can divulge and partake in the dissemination of information without revealing one's position. In the world of SI, there are many predators, and one can not afford to reveal themselves to the predator's eyes. And dropping out entirely is not the answer, because then one only cheats themselves as well as others. Now then....here's a question for you. Have you ever wondered if perhaps some of the detractors on stocks are actually employed by the SEC? I've wondered that sometimes. Anyway, this has been a long enough post! Juanita
