I would rather dream about investing than work...any day. Although lately I guess you would call a dream about investing a nightmare. Got my 401k statement and it ain't pretty.

>>Seriously though, I had a dream last night: I was looking over my portfolio and RNTK jumped to 5-6ish in one day this week. Really bizarre when investing starts invading your dream space...<<

Perhaps this is an omen that the deal is indeed near...(:>)

Dear Charles,

>>>Really
bizarre when investing starts invading your dream space...<<<

Not really. The phenomenon of dreaming is never unrelated to external events or the content of the conscious mind. The method of the kind of thinking that is in a dream is what seems bizarre to many: the dream is poetry, and as such it is not prosaic.

The dream says and reveals in a very compact and economical way, through use of metaphor and imagery, what would take forever to say in the prose style used by the waking level of consciousness. Understood in the context of our whole lives, the dream can tell us important things that we might need to know in order to live more fully and effectively.

The problem is, sometimes we confuse the language, the poetry, of the dream with the realities of everyday living- for example, ROFLMAO- and should this become a pattern, there may be cause for concern. Such confusion would be a serious condition.

Now, as far as your dream about RNTK jumping to 5-6 in one day: what currency do you normally dream in?

Best wishes,
Charliss

A Dream Interpretation:

CR: I had this dream last night. I was on a cruise ship named RNTK
CD: I see....
CR: It was really bizarre....no sense to it...
CD: Hmmm....Charles, tell me...did you notice any deck chairs on this ship?
CR: Why yes...come to think of it, there were a whole lot of deck chairs. Many, many deck chairs....
CD: Charles, investing is like a cruise ship. A lot of investors like to unfold their deck chairs and place them facing the bow of the boat....
CR: Uh...Oh, I think I see....
CD: Yes. These are the investors who like to see where they are going.
CR: Oh...yes..I see that now...
CD: Other investors like to unfold their deck chairs and place them facing the stern of the boat. These are the ones...
CR: Ahhh...These are the ones who like to see where they have been...
CD: Yes. Now....Charles, on the cruise ship RNTK, where have you placed your deck chair?
CR:
CD: Charles?
CR: Uhhh...I 've never been able to get mine unfolded and opened up....
