Russel; That's the Mississippi Delta, or finger were she goes out
the largest town right close to the end of it is Venice, I use to
work out of there, mostly a jump off place for the oil service
boats and such. Not a good place to be in this kind of storm,
very low, like all the docks have be under water already by
now.
The last Sat just came in , 2hr and 15 min between them and it
looks like it has turned more to the north, so the eye may now
miss Venice..and go a little to the east of them..which will
be a good break for them if it does. They will get a lot of
damage even if the eye misses them, if it hits them that place
could damm near vanish.
