First Impression: Sai and ChorQ-3 (Devil Dice and Penny Racer) Yesterday I spent almost 3 hours to play Sai and CharQ-3. Sai in general is a great game (glad THQ Brand is on this game). It has four game modes. The "Trial" mode is a single person mode. You keep playing until the whole block filled with dices (I died at level 12 in my first attempt). This mode is very intense but not very additive. Then it has the "Puzzle" mode, you simply try to clear the puzzle within certain steps. This mode is very good, simple and quite addictive. Then follow by the real beauty of the games. The two multi-player modes: "Battle" and "War". In "Battle" mode, your mission is try to beat your opponent by clear any four # in a dice. Each can steal the opponent's already acquired # when your opponent is in "Check" state or when he acquired three # already. You can also acquire a # if you roll over your opponent when he fall out from the dice. "War" mode support up to 5 players, each start with 99 live pts. When you clear a #, your opponents' pts will be deducted by the amount of pts you get from the #. A player lose when it lose all its pts. You can regain the live pts by clear the dice with #1. The trick to win this game is try to generate as much pts as possible by chain reaction... (buy and play the game for detail but WARNING, the multi-player modes are very addictive! ). ChorQ-3, not much to say about this one since the whole game is in Japanese. My first impression is that it is a "Q" version of many standard racing games like GT... The graphic is neat and cute but the Jap version doesn't support Analog controller. The gameplay is kind of boring but I must admit that I can't figure out how to use the "weapon" which is the fun part of the game like Mario Kart 64. I still waiting to check out the G.Darius. It hasn't arrive Canada yet... Base on my own research, G.Darius will satisfy most shoot'em up fans. Sigmund, I agree with you that $19 to $20 is important level to avoid year-end selling which is going to occur in about a month! I am glad that SL is still with us. She always appear when THQI hit the low then it will make new high again as Todd said "Sell low, Buy high then sell low AGAIN!" . OT - is Sosa use performance enhancement drug? If he isn't, he will get my support over McQwier. aC
