The old-time liberals had some pride, integrity and personal standards. They even called themselves patriots. Today's liberals will defend a felon and sexual deviant as easily as they argue for wealth redistribution and centralized regulation. While I never agreed with the movement, I feel they've now lost all respectability and will fade quickly into history. In some ways, I will miss them.

I hope that my children would tolerate Billy having whipped it out for Monica, Hillary, or any other functioning adult. I hope that they won't, however, tolerate lies. Lies and liars hurt people. Few in this world should be as aware of that as a biotech investor. I agree, let's move on. Let's let an effective leader live out his term, and let's see Congress work toward an orderly transition. I won't vote to re-elect a liar, and Clinton is toast. However, Republicans aren't going to tarnish a political body by pointing to the control and sexuality issues of a single person. I do not agree that the rest of the world laughs at us for demanding that our leaders be truthful. Rick

George. You supply incredibly thoughtfull information to a number of threads, as do Peter S, Cytokine, & Cyberken... But on this subject- 'lets move on', gotta come down strongly with RH's posit! I guess my head works along different paths, too. Yes, the Constitution was written a long time ago, but it doesn't really depend on 'attention spans'. An awful lot of countries have copied it (even CH!). And- I admit- whenever I hear, "for the sake of our children...", I vote for the other candidate! George, no offense.
