You really are quite a pompous idiot. I did not reveal myself a devotee of Ayn Rand. I posted a quote which I found appropos. Anyone who knows me knows I am neither pompous nor a moralizer. However, at some point distinctions and judgments need to be made if our society is to maintain some semblance of decency and order. Religiousity has nothing to do with it. I was raised as a Catholic but do not practice. I am not religious nor do I regularly attend services. I am deeply disturbed that there is a debate over whether our President, the highest officer in our government should be allowed to remain in office after affirmatively misleading the public, lying, perjuring himself and abusing his office.

Character is important. Clinton has none. He is a liar, a coward, a cheat and totally without integrity. He really thinks that just saying he's sorry does it. He wants grace on the cheap although we all know he does not sincerely mean any of his apologies. The contrition tour is now over and he is attacking once again. The act of the truly contrite? I think not. The founding fathers believed that the Presidency should be occupied by a man of virtue. Clearly Clinton is lacking. He must go. JLA
