The Watch List, Position Trades and Gaps are three different things.

Watch Lists are collections of stocks that appear to be in reversal for positive price growth. They are watched and entered based on some fairly simple criteria - that the lower resistance improves for 6 or more trades and volume increases. These have nothing to do with Gaps, although some may, in which case they are a stronger play.

Position Trades are stocks that I post for which I automatically enter or exit the following morning. They may have been on watch lists, but have nothing to do with Gaps.

The Gap plays are primarily from intraday, although can be used end of day. It is a trading method that sets limits for entry long or short based on the type of Gap and the first hours of trading's price movement of the stock. I find that quite profitable, and JayLyons has posted his trades to this thread - you might want to review those.

Personally, I would recommend Due Diligence to rank the stocks in my list. Hope this helps.
