Remember the rumors circling a few months - to a year ago - about MO buying Starbucks? Well, that didn't happen, but Kraft just signed a licensing deal to put Starbuck's Coffee on supermarket shelves...

IMVHO, methinks the selling was due to CNBC's coverage of MO and tobacco in general, which likely caused a little selloff. CNBC was touting the "comeback" of tobacco stocks.

However, in reality, a little profit-taking, expectations of a Fed's lowering interest rates, and reaction to the news that the DOJ has formally filed an appeal of the FDA loss.
