it's sad to think that people have such little to do with their time than to bicker on this thread.

i come home to see what TSIG has done and it takes twice the time( at least) to read the posts because of all the bickering that should be done through PM.

lots of posters want to know where Gambler, Beebs, Marty, etc. and others are and why they are not posting. I THINK I KNOW WHY! it's because of the endless bickering on this thread. after all, i also have better things to do than waste my time with these people.

i don't mean to be harsh, but let's keep this thread for info only.

thanks,

shawn

Jazzbo,

My intention was/is not to take anyone on. Your points are well taken.

However, let me see if we might have a reasonable difference of opinion here and agree to disagree... pleasantly.

You write and I quote,

The site is not done, Done?... well almost, but not finished. Almost in agreement! plain and simple, and that's why there is no PP (in my opinion), no marketing, no announcements of alliances, and no news of "Card" distribution agreements. Nobody is going to jump on the ship until they're certain the ship floats. This is your opinion, somewhat like hyperbole in reverse. Could even be called kvetching. Some will be on board shortly. And they are about to sign. Yes the site is important, but as I've been trying to explain, as long as it is moving forward, potential partnering alliances are not all that concerned. The CCI ship doesn't float, and its been in the ship yard a looonnnggg time. Too long. Once again, you place too much emphasis upon the finished site. It will be working simultaneously to announcements and I for one don't believe that a partnering agreement will be made or broken by a perfect site. But yes, it will have to work, and work it will. I might give more room here if developing a web site was a rocket science being done for the first time. But NOT. No right-minded company is going to purchase and then distribute "Cards" that - without a functioning CD site - are no more than funny money. While what you say makes sense on the surface, it's just not gonna work that way. Yes there are deals that I sincerely believe will be signed before the site is absolutely, positively perfect. Big deals to boot. While I must commend you for being a realist, once again let's face facts, the site is going to be up and running one way or another. The Card will be the dominant front end driving force as much as we would be prone to believe otherwise. Excepting as pertains to the PP. And I'm not all together sure even about that. TSIG may already have its money in the bank and the site still needs work.

You can extol the virtues of "The Card Business" as a loudly as you please, but there is no card business without a functioning site.

I don't really believe that's true as witnessed by my previous ststements.

Jazz, you saying all the things that we are all too acutely aware of. My knaowledge/understanding of the work that's going on is sufficient for me to look past these bumps to the solutions and resultant announcements. Too much water behind this dammn to be held back by some small and temporary challenges.

I won't apologize because I still see any reference to the self-evident as kvetching.

Furthermore, give me material facts that defy fix's and would materially affect the next 90 days of TSIG's future and I will go about seeking a solution. But I still won't kvetch.

I heartily recommend all of those tempted to dwell on these self-evident deficiencies to do the same. Putting our collective heads together will do more to find solutions than amplifying them.

And jazz, not all of this is directed towards yourself. You have made and continue to make worthwhile contributions. This is directed to anyone so tempted to be a part of the problem, not the solution.

Rich
