John: You have my full attention.

I sense more enthusiasm in your post of late for that TWX speculative event. Wouldn't they have to first fix the TV Net demos first ? Wouldn't it be better to wait and fix everything and thus demand more ?

Seems premature to unload something that could be just starting to show returns. I mean MK indicated profits at the TV Net in '99, why not let him try that first. Just doesn't make sense to me to unload the TV Net and leave the TV locals hanging. I don't see it happening. Thus, I think holding CBs shares for TWX speculation isn't wise.

That's just my 2 cents and I think the market is pricing that into the stock too. More likely to me is a news division via CNN amd CBS to cut costs and thus yield net profits.

Thanks

PS: That "Martial Law" peice is a winner ! Hope CBS has some ownership in it ?

John: I assume you follow Diller's moves and so what do you make of this article today regarding Diller meeting NBC ? It is at:

hollywoodreporter.com

I'd be interested in your comments. Also, could you suggest a possible reason for CBS' softness today despite a strong DOW ?

Thanks
