David J,

Another interesting look at the S&P500 is Vanguard's index fund using
a 5 and 13 weekly MACD.

And for the R2K

Vanguard's Morgan and Windsor

It looks like the weekly MACD's say things are improving.

todays magnet areas

Dow: (356.5), (230) IMPORTANT, (147.5), (104.7), 66.5

the reason the (230) is important is it is the breakout trendline which, if broken to the downside, leads to a likely dip to upper 7500s.

SP500 (29) IMPORTANT, (21), (19), (7.3), 5.4

If (29) does not hold the next step down is lower 1000s.

Oh, and BTW. there is a trendline intersection on the SP5 on Oct 7 which includes 3 IMPORTANT trendlines. I have not seen this before. We are likely to move hard one way or the other leading into OCT 7

Off to the links
cuz this market stinks
