Great questions:

1. GSM digital technology would be unattractive to a potential buyer as USA is TDMA CDMA so their network gear is not attractive maybe just the towers.

2. Credit is tight and getting tight in particular for a co. as highly leveraged as OMPT, with negative gross margins, still facing huge capital investments, now being hit by intense competition from companies with greater resources a better product and better marketing strategies. Look up OMPT's latest balance sheet it is pathetic, negative book value in the order of several hundred millions.

3. I don't see a clear strategic positioning, all they say is that they are cheaper due to poor coverage. On top of a bad strategy, their execution sucks, the parrot campaign IMO is terrible. Even if their copy strategy were good, they do not have adequate resources to achieve the share of voice that would allow them to compete with the like of Sprint PCS, BAM, ATT, etc.

4. OMPT is not the low cost producer so if business turns into a commodity, their already terrible margins will worsen.

5. True all PCS providers have spotty coverage but OMPTS wins the race with them you are roaming on an expensive analog network unless you are in the very heart of the metropolitan areas they operate and major highways. Sprint PCS coverage is several orders of magnitude larger than OMPT's.

Hope this helps. Remember this is the perspective of a short. I plan to continue short as this puppy continues its mark towards 0.

The analysts in the brokerage houses don't give a sh*t about the little guys wasting their money in this stock, the know how bad the situation is but they want to close the door to potential banking business, even if it go under members of management may pop up as potential clients somewhere else.
