Absolutely they take place...if you are a retail client and someone offers you an IPO, trust me, you dont want it....no 2, 3, 4 hundred thousand account is getting access to the best IPOs..only the big boyz....(for the most part). As well, softdollar kickbacks definately occur and the NASD/SEC has been trying to keep it in check. Anyway, Best luck with your services....send me a page on what you offfer, y0ou never know when I might have someone that is more suited to what you may offer.
