Everyone is gearing up for Rambus, Samsung, LG, Hyundai, etc., because
there is no question Intel has Camino chip set to proto in Oct. production in April/May. Done deal, but Rambus has some issues for
large memory systems support, that they will overcome, but SLDRAM does have some advantages in supporting larger amounts of memory in a system plus lower cost, and no royalities. the non-intel camps who use their own chip sets will most likely be the users of SLDRAM. Maybe some third party guys like VIA or others will do a SLDRAM chip set. MU already announced one. There is no question for the Mid to hi end PC market and low end to mid workstation market Intel will use Rambus, then when larger memory capacities can be done Intel will support Rambus in the higher end systems where lots of memory is a must.
Good trading.
