But they have an interest in that stock, their clients financial future. They have no interest in the stock per se, but you are right in that they do have the interests of their clients at stake. That's not the same as having a vested interest in selling the stock. It's as unbiased as you'll get - if they like it, they recommend it, if they don't, they won't. Having the interests of clients first, and not those of the company will give you the most unbiased opinion you can get. Their not about to recommend a dog to their clients, or they won't be in business long. BF
