I'd love to see teams of thousands from the SEC go out and investigate unusual Option and stock activity for the 30 days prior to announcements and have a few key employees (hopefully management) spend a few months in the Federal Funny Farm. That ought to put somewhat of a lid on it. Too bad it won't happen. In light of this point of view, do you have an opinion on the ASND/LU issue? Is the slumping stock an indication LU will NOT pick ASND; or is this just a reflection of the uncertainty over the pick and selling to avoid being in the stock for the moment of truth? (That's what I did: sold 2/3 of my shares to avoid bad news when I saw the stock have difficulty getting to 50 then starting to slump.)
