Something must have been an error a prophet said, otherwise this would not have stated. The verse says the error was corrected. So what was the mistake a prophet said if it wasn't Mohammad in reference to the sun goddesses? LoL....I now see your logic. You're trying to somehow parallel this to Muhammad (Pbuh)??Read the verse and note who it speaks of: Never did We send a Messenger or a Prophet before you , but; when he did recite the revelation or narrated or spoke, Shaitân (Satan) threw (some falsehood) in it. But Allâh abolishes that which Shaitân (Satan) throws in. Then Allâh establishes His Revelations. And Allâh is All-Knower, All-Wise: It's speaking of Prophets before Muhammad (Pbuh). How do I know? It says, "Before you." If you need further proof, simply read the context of the verse. Here are the verses surrounding it: 48. And many a township did I give respite while it was given to wrong-doing. Then (in the end) I seized it (with punishment). And to Me is the (final) return (of all). 49. Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O mankind! I am (sent) to you only as a plain warner." 50. So those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh) and do righteous good deeds, for them is forgiveness and generous Provision (Paradise). 51. But those who strive against Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), to frustrate and obstruct them, they will be dwellers of the Hell-fire. 52. Never did We send a Messenger or a Prophet before you, but; when he did recite the revelation or narrated or spoke, Shaitân (Satan) threw (some falsehood) in it. But Allâh abolishes that which Shaitân (Satan) throws in. Then Allâh establishes His Revelations. And Allâh is All-Knower, All-Wise: 53. That He (Allâh) may make what is thrown in by Shaitân (Satan) a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy and disbelief) and whose hearts are hardened. And certainly, wrong doers (Polytheists) are in an opposition far-off (from the truth against Allâh's Messenger and the believers). 54. And that those who have been given knowledge may know that it (this Qur'ân) is the truth from your Lord, and that they may believe therein, and their hearts may submit to it with humility. And verily, Allâh is the Guide of those who believe, to the Straight Path. 55. And those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt about it (this Qur'ân) until the Hour comes suddenly upon them, or there comes to them the torment of the Day after which there will be no night (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). ? Do you ask us to believe it is a coincidence that Mohammed and polytheism is mentioned in this Sura with the above verse, but there is no relationship? What!? Polytheism? Where in the world did you get that from?? This verse does not mention Polytheism! It's talking about Satan's temptations to all Prophets. All Prophets of God testified to the Oneness of God. Satan's temptations were not in worshipping other gods but was in smaller matters. If this is your proof of what you think to be Muhammad (Pbuh) preaching polytheism, excuse me if I say its very weak. Muhammad (Pbuh) worshipped One God his entire life. A Prophet comparing others with God is the worst sin in Islam, the only unforgiveable sin: Shirk. No Prophet of God did such a thing. Peace be unto you, Norris
