Gateway G has Voodoo II as standard for now. This is old news but I surfed around after the post about Dell going TnT to see what others were doing. I guess I just needed some positive affirmation.

Go to the link and then click on multimedia PC's and you'll see the 12MB Voodoo II as standard equipment on a Gateway unit. It is not an option in a pull down box.

Now, if only they could all read Banshee or Obsidian dual-SLI rigs...

I'm wondering if the TNT will be standard for all the computers in the Gateway lines or just the high end. Gateway already has different video cards within their lines (based on what I've seen in magazine ads and from their website. Maybe Banshee lower-end machines and TNT higher end machines?

I'm guessing Gateway only because they do have a "home" market lead. The banshee is much cheaper than the TNT and that's important in the lower-end machines whre you're selling to customers choosing on price.

ps- I'm going to have to post my "worries list" later this week. So far two main themes - where's the OEM deals and competition.
