Come on, Michelle. Surely you must realize that sex at work is never appropriate.

That's probably because of productivity concerns, right? What if someone is already working say 12 or more hours a day, or on that day? 10?

Maybe it could be a productivity ENHANCHER. Have you considered that possibility? You know, if both are overachievers and all. Keeps them in the office, doesn't it?

Now if they always have to run off to some motel, isn't that really just the imposition of another, and unnecessary, commute period? I thought we all knew that commuting time was one of the worst wasters of productivity in modern American life. Indeed, a waster of BOTH work time and quality family time. No?

I think what you're REALLY worried about could be hygiene. What if they clean up really, really well each time? You know, both germicides and air fresheners???

OK, finally, maybe you're worried about the misuse of company property for private gain? If they paid a short term motel rate for the use of the premises? Surely that would erase ALL possible objection, wouldn't it?

Doug

Notice that the First "Lady" (and I use that term loosely) said if the allegations were "proved to be true", then "that would be a very serious matter".

Choosing her words carefully, she never said if the allegations were "in fact true", only if they were "proven" true.

At the time, this co-conspirator in the cover-up never thought Starr could prove it. She obviously didn't know about the dress.

Boy did that screw up her Vast Right Wing Conspiracy spin, a fact not yet grasped by several leftists on this thread.

Speaking of inappropriate sex….

Perhaps you'll think better of this piece. It's an analysis of some of the social issues surrounding an new pharmacological wonder, which has been amazing Wall Street, as well as Main Street, as I'm sure you are well aware. I think we all must recognize that we should look at such things from women's points of view as well, no?

Frankly, when the news about Viagra came out, I
anticipated this reaction. The first words I said when I
looked up from the headlines, were: "Anna Nicole
Smith." Yes, I knew Viagra might be a dream come true
for some well-to-do gentlemen, but for the young,
gorgeous pin-up wives who married them, the little pill
is a nightmare in a bottle.
