New Product Allows Leading-Edge Computer Telephony Applications to
Quickly, Cost-Effectively Connect to Phone Systems

September 28, 1998

BUFFALO, N.Y., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ via NewsEdge Corporation --
Application developers can quickly and cost-effectively connect a variety of
computer telephony applications to leading telephone systems with
VoiceBridge 2000(TM), a new product now available through Voice
Technologies Group, Inc. (VTG), vtg.com.

VoiceBridge 2000 is an ISA-compatible board that links PC-based voice
processing applications to Lucent Technologies, Nortel, Siemens, and Mitel
Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems. It uses SCbus and Microsoft's
Telephony API (TAPI), considered to be a foundation for computer
telephony and voice processing applications, to provide digital access to the
PBX, minimizing difficult switch integration tasks. VoiceBridge 2000 offers
developers maximum design flexibility in creating applications such as IP
Telephony, interactive voice response (IVR), inbound call center, wireless
communication, voice mail, in addition to custom solutions.

VoiceBridge 2000 supports TAPI ver. 2.1 that is bundled with Windows NT
ver. 4.0, vtg.com.

"VoiceBridge 2000 permits developers broad access to the marketplace and
reduced cost and time to market for their applications," said Bob Fritzinger,
executive vice president for VTG. "In the future, any developer seeking to add
value to legacy PBXs, can build an application in a Windows NT server
environment using the core standard tools of the Microsoft developer's
universe."

VoiceBridge 2000 uses SCbus, an industry standard digital telephony bus that
permits broad compatibility with popular audio voice boards, as well as fax,
data, imaging, text-to-speech, and speech recognition products.

"Dialogic remains committed to leading the industry with open,
standards-based platforms," said Alan Eng, product line manager for Dialogic
Corporation. "By building on open standards, VTG is enabling
interoperability with our standards-based media products, allowing customers
to develop intelligent call control and messaging solutions."

The introduction of VoiceBridge 2000 represents VTG's commitment to
standards and providing advanced integration products that facilitate the
development of leading-edge computer telephony solutions.
