Fred: Thanks for your extensive response. I have a clearer idea of what you mean because of the very specific initiatives you detailed.

No. I didn't label your posts as some kind of con. I didn't understand specifically the "giving back" piece you were espousing. I consider you a businessman plus. The businessman is always selling, as successful businessmen always do. The plus is the giving piece of yourself, in manageable, structured chunks. I see you as extending your "circle of influence" rather than the thought I had of your "saving the world", which I didn't buy.

Thanks again, and much success in your enterprises (the business piece, and the plus piece).

"For some reason you have labeled my dialogue a con."

Granted, you said this to Bernie but allow me to comment. No, I don't think what you are doing is a con. In fact, I believe that you are doing what everyone should do. Namely, give back to the community. But I believe that your mistake is in assuming that everyone is like you and will/should use the wireless/internet for humanitarian reasons. Everyone isn't like you nor will they use w/i for the same good purposes. Evil abounds in this world and paridygn (sp.) shifts won't change that because it gets at the core of what human nature is.

What I am trying to say is get off this new age kick you're on and explain in concrete, objective, verifiable terms exactly what can and needs to be done. We don't need more theoriticians, we need people who can do. And I think you're ultimate goal is to motivate folks to be doers.
