***OT**** unless your interested in investing in Malaysia ;-)

WOW, What a difference 10 days make.... Some things to watch for when you return.

Sentiment has shifted severely from, support of Anwar to "Dr. M must go".

Daily 'demonstrations' in various areas of the city from Merdaka Square to Gombak. Mosques seem to be the focal point.

Anwar appeared in court yesterday visibly bruised and battered (swollen left eye, cheek, head, arms etc. etc.) to plead not guilty to 9 counts. 5 of corruption and 4 sexual deviancy. He is due to appear in PJ court this morning for another charge of sexual deviancy.

Interview with his wife on CNBC this AM. She states he was severely beaten upon his arrest. Suffers from impaired vision and bruises and contusions. Lost consciousness etc. etc... Requesting "impartial" medical evaluation.

CNBC also reports this morning that the two 'star' witnesses,( the step-brother and the speech writer) have recanted their guilty pleas of participating in sodomy. They are now saying their confessions were not given of their own free will. Hmmmmmm could that be????

Some other stuff that I will not go into, since MIMOS is again tracking.......

From what little polling I have done since I returned this weekend, and from other sources some of whom you met, it appears that there is real support for some kind of change.
