In case people can't see it to go back, I think I'll quote my favorite post of yours, jlallen. A predictable and hollow moral relativist response. Character does matter. Letting Clinton get away with his lies, perjury, obstruction and abuse of his office will corrupt an entire generation. NO MAN is above the law. Especially not one who is so lacking in character as the current occupant of the WH. If that be "McCarthyite" then that is a label I will gladly wear. It is time to return character and integrity to our lives and to politics in this country. Clinton is hopefully the nadir. It is spineless relativists such as yourself, fearful that someone may criticize your own lifestyle who have given a pass to the likes of Clinton for too long. You sir are a willing accomplice to the decline and (soon to be)fall of our society. Those who do not learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past. It is exactly the collapse of moral order such as we are witnessing today which led to the leftist dictatorships in Europe in the 1930's and ultimately to WWII. I fear for a country and a society which do not recognize how corrosive the likes of Clinton are to all of us in our daily lives. Have you no shame? That was directed at McCarthy, it didn't come from him. You guys seem to have this continual confusion about who's attacking who. Along with the old "Hitler was a leftist" line, this piece is working out to be quite a classic. As to your "diagnosis", we have another currently inoperative Biblical verse from jbe that addresses that issue. And, frankly, it is not right to call other people's views "idiotic." As Jesus said (inerrantly, of course): ..Whosoever shall say, Thou Fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:22. And another nice set of Biblical quotations in Message 5850217, where jbe conveniently give us chapter and verse on "Judge not lest thee be judged" and "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone". I wouldn't want anyone to take my word for it, I don't pretend to know much of the Bible. Perhaps Rand has an explanation for why these verses are currently inoperative?
