Yep. re: mrknowitall. He certainly has his bad moments. But unlike more than a few around here lately, he is not immune to reason and a good argument. And he seems to know more than only his Bible (or in jlallen's case, his Atlas Shrugged). I actually like discoursing with him, for the most part. (Now watch him come swoop down on me and take advantage. <gg>) Doug

No Dan, that wasn't what I supposedly "pulled on you." IN FACT, the meaning was that your statements reflecting a position of all Republicans being dishonest was as inaccurate and unfair as saying all Germans were Nazis or that all white people are racists. None of those statements is true. I used those examples to demonstrate the fact that people say things that are preposterous as well as unfair to the people being generalized in that manner and I resented that attack. BTW - I heard a rumor that if you paste the same thing (i.e., "cheesy high school debate tricks") to your clipboard too many times, it burns in like a sun-bloom on a tv camera, and it'll start showing up in things you don't expect it to. Mr. K.

My Dearest Dan, You are free to pick and choose shadowy creatures lurking everywhere who are out to get your boy Clinto. There's no debate here, the boy did it and lied. What troubles you is not what this coward has done, but that he got caught at it and just maybe, be held responsible. The issue is not who caught him but that he has been defrocked for the miserable coward that he is. Hiding behind the lies, using his own people to lie for him and blandly try to palm this off as a mere momentary indiscretion. His own life has been an indiscretion. Regardless of how this all ends, he has been disclosed and the skin is being stripped off his filthy body layer by layer. Not to worry, his historical relativeness has been reduced to a footnote in history, which is still too much for a coward.
