One of my bosses (the head of treasury in the bank I work) told me, the LEH was toast if the LTCM bailout had not taken place. LEH is engaged heavily in such transactions. The role of it in the murky rouble fixing (RUB 8 /USD at one moment, organized by Mr. Geraschtschenko himself and a mayor of a big capital) is still unclear. If one is so exposed, is it necessary to engage there? I more think of reverting my year-old short, JPM, if it really should be a bank stock. Greetings. C.
