From the cbot noontime report

Fed Funds were last reported to be trading at 5 1/2%, lower than the 5
3/8% rate that traded during the Fed's normal intervention time. To the
surprise of some analysts, the Fed stayed out of the open market.

my understanding was that there was no Fed injection of liquidity, the banks just bout out LTC and took over it's positions.

Also fwiw I think the Fed will cut 25 bps tomorrow but would not be shocked if there was no ease.
