Nope - not until they've had a chance to hear from all of us.

Are they supposed to lead or follow? Personally, I expect them to follow the polls in terms of public pronouncements, other than before carefully screened audiences. After the election, as I said, I expect a return to our regularly scheduled program. Again, in the absence of clear talk on the matter, I'd assume party affiliation is a good proxy for anybody who cares. As Mayor Daley said, Vote Early, Vote Often! Well, that's a little contrary to Republican strategy here too, but it'd be nice for civic virtues if there was a good turnout.
