FD: you'll recall that in August my natural hatred of Microsquash boiled over into a put idea on this board (#reply-5539364) ...perchance to dream: nytimes.com "'My job is not to compete with Microsoft,' Young stresses. 'It's to lower the value of the operating system market. Microsoft makes $5 billion in operating system sales. If I get that market, I automatically make it a $500 million market.'" It probably isn't going to happen. But it sure would be nice if it did, and every front-page (in this case, front-business section) story about it makes it less impossible.
