Same effect as a put... Selling calls means you think stock will be stuck or go down. It is a bet against a stock. I am unwinding my Oct110 calls that I bought as out-of-money hedge against the nightmare scenario. Of ocurse, I never thought I was have to do this, but my puts are now naked. I have no idea what tomorrow's fed rate cut by Easy Al has to do with AMZN, because it is stuck paying 10% on Senior Notes. But what do I know? DocStone

William, as you know I have lost approx $60k on the 'Thing', with still 15 Jan put contracts to be dealt with. Last week I bought 20k Rnwk shares @ 25. This morning I sold 10k @ 40 1/8. I decided not to fight you bulls anymore, but to join you. I'm loving your ride. ps I'm not touching the 'Thing' again. At least not this year. You can trust me on that.
