Paul,

If you re-read Pravin's message, he said that 3DFX has poor image quality. When he said that 3DFX based graphics subsystem would put i740 to shame, I think me meant performance.

Try reading my post again with your brain engaged. I said that 3dfx cards were known for poor image quality.

Also, I seriously doubt that Portola will be used on Whitney. If it is, Intel will wipe out the graphics chip industry.
